RE:DESIGNED was founded in Denmark in 2003.
Years of experience in the fashion industry, combined with a passion for craftsmanship, evolved into a deep dedication to enduring quality leather and functional design.
In 2023, we introduced PROJECT - a collection designed especially for crafters. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to offer practical storage for knitting and crochet accessories, supporting creativity wherever it unfolds.
All designs are developed in-house at our headquarters in Denmark, where every creative decision is made - from the first sketches to leather selection and the placement of functional details. Each item is then meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans in India using soft, durable leather.
Guided by the principles of slow living, we craft timeless leather bags - designed not only to last, but to age gracefully alongside the lives they become a part of.

QUALITY LEATHER
Our bags are crafted from full-grain leather, dyed before the surface is finished to preserve its natural texture. This process leaves each piece with unique characteristics, where no two are the same.
Handcrafted with care and finished with wax to create a smooth and soft finish. Our bags are made to endure everyday use - a timeless companion that becomes more beautiful with every wear.
Our leather is responsibly sourced under EU animal welfare standards, it is a by-product of the meat industry, used thoughtfully to minimize waste.

OUR PRODUCTION
Every piece we create is thoughtfully handcrafted.
Our design process begins in-house, where every detail is carefully considered - from shape and proportions to leather selection, hardware, embossing and placement of interior compartments. Each leather component is precisely cut and hand-waxed to achieve a soft and supple finish, reflecting our commitment to both beauty and functionality.
Our skilled artisans in India hand-assemble each bag, followed by thorough quality checks to ensure it meets our standards before arriving at our warehouse in Denmark. Our production is validated by SMETA, guaranteeing responsible working conditions, ethical practices, and environmental care throughout the supply chain.
The result is more than just a bag - it is the balance between thoughtful design, expert craftsmanship, and enduring quality created to grow more beautiful with time.

It’s not about what we make - but how the process makes us feel.
The idea for PROJECT was born in 2023, after Mia rediscovered knitting during her first pregnancy. Seeking a quiet, soothing activity, she fell in love with the rhythm of creating something both beautiful and useful, and with the mental clarity that came from deep focus.
As her projects grew, so did the need for better organization. Yarn, needles, and projects in progress began to gather, without a storage solution that matched her care for the craft.
With an eye for function and aesthetics, Mia set out to design a solution, creating the brand’s first collection of bags thoughtfully made for knitting accessories.
